Theri Baby

Disclaimer: This is my first post on movie review, so bear with me.
இந்த போஸ்ட் யார் மனதையும் புண்படுத்துவதற்காக எழுதப்பட்டது அல்ல. முழுக்க முழுக்க என் சிந்தையில் தோன்றியவை தான் :)

With Atlee, Vijay fan himself directing Theri I am no exception to the ones who awaited the movie on the big screen. Somehow, my brother managed to book the tickets on the first day at Palazzo Cinemas, Forum Vijaya Mall. Now I know how valence electron would have felt every single time, watching Vijay's screen presence. Wow! What a treat to the eyes! Despite being a fan follower of Kamal Haasan, I love Ilayathalapathy very much for his humour sense, fabulous dance moves, romance and above all his humility and the guts and endurance to overcome the negative criticism.
Now coming to the movie Theri, the movie moves with an engaging screenplay. Vijay proves again and again that even without smoking, drinking and abusing others heroism could be exhibited in a stupendous style.Through this movie, Vijay sets his own style of mannerism and body language and the director Atlee unleashes Vijay's potential completely resulting in the exhibition of perfect heroism. Theri, though seeming to be a masala or an action packed flick, brings the touches of the society and the issues disturbing the nation's growth hither and thither with a perfect blend of action sequences and emotions. Everyone has done their acting part so well. Nainika, a five year old cannot be praised less for her cute performance and the father and daughter chemistry between Joseph Kuruvilla and baby brings smile on the guy/girl who fought with his/her father, the day before for any silly reason. Mahindran sets villainism above par not through his stunts or fights but through his cruel expression on his face and dialogues. Radhika does a job of an adorable mom who is loved by every boy child who watches the movie. On samantha, I can say it her best performance so far and romance has worked out so well that the couple watching the onscreen romance fails to close their eyes even for blinking. Director Atlee's screenplay is so engaging that we forget to even listen to GV Prakash's therifying BGM.

The movie will be huge success as it will keep you engaged till the end that you will not waste even a fraction of time in taking the pop corn from your neighbour.
Bottomline: A movie to be loved and enjoyed for the director Atlee's brilliance and the actor Vijay's heroism leaving aside the ego clash.
